Let’s Look: Fate/Kaleid Drei Episode 7 Review: Doll Times

Time to play with some dolls

I know what happened. You know what happened to me. Let’s not dwell on the past and get to the future.

So we start the episode with Illya as a doll and not even a cute one…

So after the opening we go to Kuro and Bazett running to see Gil to see what he knows and we get this sight.

And he says he doesn’t dislike tomboys but they ruin his beauty sleep. Kuro x Gil when?

Cue Kuro smacking him with a paper fan.

Then Kuro and Bazett explain the situation while Gil tells them that they might have used to the concealment cloth that Gil, Tanaka, and Illya used when they first came to the other world.

It sucks…

However seeing it was really random, they guess it must not have been Darius…leaving only Erika…

We move back to Erika and Angelica where they find that they can’t brainwash Illya into a mindless servant. Mostly because she has retreated into an empty space within her mind.

That empty space is where Kuro’s personality once was. Thanks for the save, Kuro-chan.

So what’s next? The answer is doll. By that we mean stuff her personality into a doll and leave the body behind with a new personality…eh they didn’t need that body anyway.

So after some annoying figuring Erika decides to take Illya’s body to Miyu to try and make her happy.

The rest of the episode is mostly hijinks from getting attacked by Rin and Luvia.

Same thing happened to them too…sad.

Not so sad anymore when Luvia’s top is ripped off…

To seeing Beatrice when she’s alone…

This is creepy on a new level. Rie Kugimiya made her really cute during the cute moments…

And it all ends with Illya heading up to the attic and finding Sapphire.

It looks like the counterattack can finally begin!

And with that this episode ends with Rin and Luvia coming up to the attic and Illya and Sapphire using Trance.

Yeah…it’s still a doll…

No you can’t but at least make it interesting for the viewers.

So with that the episode ends. It feels good to get back into reviews after a long time.
