Fairy Tail

Set in an imaginary world, the Earth Land, there exists a Mage Guild called “Fairy Tail.” Fairy Tail is stationed in the town Magnolia, residing in the Kingdom of Fiore, and is currently governed by Makarov, Guild’s master.

Lucy Heartfilia, a 17-year-old girl, wishes to become a full-fledged mage and join one of the most prestigious Mage Guilds in the world, Fairy Tail.

Let’s Look:Fairy Tail 2nd Series Episode 30: Gastrodons and Spirits Become Evil!

The filler arc has some good starts! I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

So we start off this episode with the narrator(hey the good old narrator’s back.) saying that the weather’s been all out of whack lately.

Bad for the world. Good for Fairy Tail Wizards.

They’ve never had this much work. Look at the guild hall.

Snapshot_1

Wow you can practically hear the chirping crickets.

So turns out pretty much everyone is out on a job right now.

So what are Natsu, Happy and Lucy going to do?

Mira’s got their back with a job in the town of Seabellius and they need a Celestial Wizard! Looks like it’s right up the Lucy alley!

But first they’ve got to get there…

Snapshot_11

Poor Dragon Slayer. Can’t catch a break at all.

Sooo…two projectile vomit filled hours later… they arrive at the coordinates for Seabellius but there’s nothing there except a great ocean view.

Looks like someone got played. It’s okay it happens to the best of us.

But you know what doesn’t happen to the rest of us. This!

Snapshot_14

It’s a Gastrodon! Get it from Pokemon! Looks like it’s an East Sea Gastrodon.

These are the jokes people…

Lucky they’re on a beach that means that Lucy can summon Aquarius…not the best play. She wash us all out to sea but hey whatever.

Hmmm it didn’t work. Trying again doesn’t work either and Taurus isn’t answering either. Maybe they put the whole summoning from the Golden Key thing on vibrate and aren’t noticing it?

Lucky we’ve got Natsu.

Snapshot_17 Snapshot_18

So…how bad of a lost is it if they lose to a giant sea slug…pretty bad.

So Lucy tries to summon every key that’s she got but nothing’s working.

Maybe not…we’re screwed.

Also Natsu got spit out by the sea slug. How can I tell?

Snapshot_23

Haha he looks like an ostrich!

But it looks like Natsu’s able to pull a win out.

Wow look at that sucker fly. Come on Gastrodon. You’re weak to Grass not Fire.

Anyway after that we switch back to the guild where Mira and the others(Gray, Erza, and Wendy) are worrying about Natsu and Lucy because there is no such thing as the town of Seabellus.

Then through the rain, Someone comes to the door.

Snapshot_26

It’s Yukino!

She’s got something to say but we switch back over to Lucy and Natsu.

Lucy keeps trying to summon the Spirits but nothing works until she decides to summon Crux, one of the Silver Key Spirits.

Snapshot_27

He tells them that the Spirit World and Human World are both in danger but before he can say what happened. We get this.

Snapshot_28

Virgo what happened to you!

Nice boob window.

After the commercial we go back to Yukino and the guys and she explains how her Golden Keys aren’t working either.

So Virgo’s all SM Dom now. Hmm Mashima good work on the alternate forms of the Spirits.

So Lucy gets into a whip duel with Virgo.

Then Lucy manages to get the rock that Virgo’s standing on but…

She can’t do it. Despite being different now, she’s still her friend and she can’t hurt her.

Normally I’d say that Lucy was being a bit naive. It’s a battle and she needs to be willing to hurt Virgo to save her but I can’t right now.

I just read chapter 37 of Fuuka. I’m not going to mix Fairy Tail with Fuuka but I’ll explain everything in my Fuuka Review which I swear will be out next week and my Suzuka Review which will be on out on November 1st.

Okay. Got to stay good with the reviewing. Okay! Back to Fairy Tail.

So after her little show of weakness to Virgo, Virgo just starts wailing on her! Like I wonder if she’s got any welts or something after that.

After going too far, Natsu throws a massive fireball at Virgo.

And then the Celestial Spirits that Lucy is contracted come to the battlefield.

Did they just turn Aquarius into a loli? Also her voice sounds familiar? I could swear that Sora Takui is voicing her but I’m not sure. I need to do some research in that.

So once Loke appears, may I add in cool armor, the Celestial Spirits announce that their contracts with Lucy are over and they seek true freedom.

But Lucy won’t accept it. She calls out to Aquarius, the Spirit that she’s been with since the beginning, but even she doesn’t remember her.

Damn. After reading chapter 37…to forget bonds made years ago…it really brings a tear to my eye.

However things aren’t going to back to the way they were without a fight Lucy.

Snapshot_57

Now the fight begins.

They’re getting owned and Lucy keeps trying to reach them to no avail.

Natsu tells Happy to get Lucy away while he goes in and fights Loke.

But even Natsu can’t go against them so the only thing they can do is retreat.

Snapshot_77

And the episode ends with the Spirits returning and Loke saying they need do something in order to get true freedom.

It was a pretty good episode. Although I’m not in a great place to review right now. I’ll give this episode 8/10 for a good beginning to the filler. I’m curious what’s going happen next.

So until next episode,
Later Days

Let’s Look:Fairy Tail 2nd Series Episode 29: Giving The Spirits Their Wishes!

Feel free to read the review but to be straight nothing major happens. You can skip it and go straight to next episode without missing much.

So this episode doesn’t have much stuff to work with so it’s going to be a kinda short.

So Lucy and Yukino along with Natsu and Happy go up the Hill of Stars to summon all 12 Celestial Spirits to thank them for closing the Eclispe Gate during the battle against the Dragons.

So Lucy and Yukino decide to summon each Spirit one by one to let them have any wish they want from them.

And that’s it! I could really end the review there and you’d be ready for the next episode.

However I respect you all too much for that and I’m listening to ‘See You at the Elementario’ by Brilliant Four(The Ending for Amagi Brilliant Park) so I’m in the mood for some extra stuff.

So I’m going to heroically count down my top favorite moments in this one. That counts as a review? Right?

Anyway coming in at number 10 is Libra!

Libra is the Spirit of the Scales and she belongs to Yukino. So what do you want Libra?

That’s it? You can see why it’s number 10…

So moving on number 9 is Aries!

Aries is the Spirit of the Ram and she belongs to Lucy. So what could she want?

Snapshot_7

She wants a tan? We’ve got tanning beds for this…

Snapshot_8

Too much dude…

Snapshot_9

Well at least she’s happy…

Coming around the park at number 8 is Taurus!

Taurus is the Spirit of the Bull and he belongs to Lucy. We all know he’s a S-Class pervert so what does he want?

Well he’s got good taste…and with that he heads home.

Around at number 7 is Cancer!

Cancer is the Spirit of the Crab and he also belongs to Lucy. So what could a hairdresser from the sea want?

Hmm so how it turn out?

Snapshot_17

Hahahaha but this reminds me of the Tarturus Arc when…I can’t tell you sorry. I’m not going to give spoilers for you anime only viewers.

At number 6 is Capricorn.

Capricorn is the Spirit of the Goat and he also belongs to Lucy. So let’s get it to it.

Snapshot_18

Snore

What?! What?! I’m awake! He just started reading and I just blacked out for a minute.

So now we’re getting down to the good ones.

Coming in at number 5 is Gemini.

Gemini are the twin Spirits of the …well the Twins and they along belong to Lucy. Love these guys.

Hahaha it hurts to laugh so much.

Coming in at number 4 is Sagittarius.

Yeah he belongs to Lucy too and he’s the Spirit of the Archer.

Oh god! It hurts! It hurts to laugh this much. Not only does Happy get a afro but it gets cut by an arrow!

Next up at number 3 is Leo.

He belongs to Lucy and he’s the Spirit of the Lion and leader of the Zodiac. He’s also a member of Fairy Tail but that’s another story.

So what do you want Loke?

Hmmm I completely agree! Soft soft, white hair, curvy figure! I’d go for her too!

Close to the number 1 is number 2 is Pisces.

They belong to Yukino and they are the Spirits of the Fish. So what do they want?

Ah the sweet irony! The fish eats the cat! Hahaha good one!

The great number one is Aquarius.

She belongs to Lucy and she’s the Spirit of the Water Bearer.

Aquarius isn’t my favorite because of the comedy but because of the bond that she has with Lucy.

Aquarius is the first Spirit that Lucy obtain after her mother died. And because of being rich, Lucy didn’t have any friends so Aquarius was the only companion she had.

So Lucy does a little play with Yukino to try and make Aquarius laugh. It doesn’t work…epically and she ends washing them out and Lucy gets hung on a branch on a cliffside.

Aquarius pulls her off and puts her under a blanket so she won’t get a cold. She has a flashback of Lucy when she was younger.

Now we all know that Aquarius is …not a friendly person but Lucy did love her and cherished playing with her.

As we can see through the flashback, Aquarius cares for her too.

This last part could actually work in the canon since it really enhances a certain part of the Tarturus arc when Lucy summons Aquarius.

I could tell what happens but why spoil you? All I have to say is that I really hope that Eri Kitamura and Aya Hirano can give it their all in that scene.

So the episode ends with Lucy and Aquarius sitting down and looking at the stars.

Snapshot_46

So it was a funny episode and the part with Aquarius was really nice. So I’ll give Fairy Tail 2nd Series Episode 29 a 7/10 for good feels and some good comedy.

Now things are serious! The filler arc is coming next week. I hope it’s good. Although I really wished that they adapted A Day with Asuka and 419 Days. But hey they’ll do it someday.

But next the next review,
Later Days

Let’s Look: Fairy Tail 2nd Series Episode 27: Rogue, I Think Your Cat’s Stupid.

I have to say I’m liking these fillers. Props to Hiro Mashima for making the source material and props to Studio Satelight for adapting it.

So we start off this episode with Lector and Frosch, the Exceeds from Sabertooth. Apparently Lector’s looking for a new vest to buy.

Relax man. You’re a cat. No one’s paying attention to your fashion choices.

So while Lector’s being a slave to fashion, Frosch disappears into the crowd. Noo!

So after the opening, we hear the people of the town say how much warmer and nice the Sabertooth mages are after Sting became the guild master.

Snapshot_3 Snapshot_4

He’s taken up the will of Gemma!

Snapshot_5

Oh it’s a pool! Yay! Swim time and it’s time to see Yukino in a bikini!

So the Sabertooth mages comment that they must be the only guild that has a swimming pool in their guild hall…

Well…

Darn and they only got theirs finished seven years ago.

So everyone’s having fun. Sting’s splashing everyone. Orga and Rufus are chilling with some floaties. Then Lector comes in and explains what happened.

Of course Rogue goes off. Calm down dude. It’s not Lector’s fault your cat has the attention span of a goldfish.

So it’s time to go looking for Frosch!

Snapshot_10 Snapshot_11

So after a bit of looking they run into Gajeel and Pantherlily. Rogue goes crazy again and gets all aggressive with Gajeel asking if he’s seen Frocsh.

Snapshot_12

Ummm…dude you do remember the last time you fought him right. It ended with an Iron Shadow Dragon’s Roar to the face.

So after Sting reins in Rogue, Pantherlily tells them that they saw Frocsh ten minutes ago in the park.

So they rush over there and find Wendy and Carla but no Frosch…

Turns out Wendy’s in town buying a swimsuit. But it’s too big for her and she says that she can’t fill it out. Poor Wendy. It’s tough being the token Loli but hey every anime needs one.

Snapshot_13

So Rogue gets all up in her face too.

Snapshot_14 Snapshot_15

So Sting sends him flying into a post while Yukino explains the situation and Carla points them down the street where they last saw Frocsh.

Here we go again.

But before we go, Lector totally hits on Carla.

Snapshot_16

And something funny happens.

Snapshot_17

He sensed a disturbance in the Love Force!

So after they run into Ichiya of Blue Pegasus…and isn’t much help…in fact…well… see for yourselves.

Snapshot_19

AAAAAHH! MY EYES! MY EYES! What the hell man?!

Snapshot_18 Snapshot_20

Anyway they manage to run into Frocsh who’s staring at a map. Apparently he’s trying to get home by himself…Let’s look to Sting and Lector on how likely that is.

Snapshot_24

They know the cat’s stupid too.

Anyway Rogue makes them wait…in his own way.

And Sting gets all mad. And thus Sting x Yukino and Rogue x Yukino was born!

So they let Frosch try to find his way back by himself. Of course he gets distrcted by a butterfly and nearly hit by a horse carriage.

As they follow Frosch they run into Kagura and Millianna who both want to take Frosch home. Millianna just loves cats and apparently Kagura just likes cute things…or frogs…one of the two. She’s a weird young woman.

Snapshot_25

So while they start arguing Frocsh runs off and runs into some frog traders. Wait Frog traders? That’s a thing? Anyway they can’t catch him because either Frosch is too fast or they’re stupid. Then Natsu, Happy, and Lucy show up and help out.

So next Frocsh runs into Juvia and Grey.

Yay Juvia and Grey together. More likely that they’ll be together!

Snapshot_31

Anyway after Frosch starts to cry, Grey and Juvia offer to walk him back to the guild hall but Frosch says no since he’s a member of Sabertooth he’ll make his own way home. He doesn’t want to keep depending on his friends. Aww that’s nice. But look at this.

Snapshot_32

See clothes

Snapshot_33

No clothes and it was like a second he was off camera! How fast of a stripper is Gray!?

Anyway Frosch continues on with Sting, Rogue, Yukino, and Lector watching until Frosch meets Erza. Frosch shows her the present he…she…I don’t know what Frosch is. I want to say that he’s a guy but I’m not sure.

Anyway he wants to show her the present he got for Rogue.

Snapshot_34

Hahahah are you going to wear it Rogue!

Anyway after that Frocsh asks for directions and after walking for hours. He makes it to…the Fairy Tail Guild Hall! It’s a completely different city!

And that ends episode 27.

If you’re looking for deep emotional stuff or action, don’t come here.

It was definitely all comedy and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Side Note:Rogue I suggest a new Exceed. Your current one needs to get a brain.

Anyway I give this episode 8/10 for good comedy and good art. It’s always good to see a new side to characters and we get that here with the Sabertooth guys and one girl.

So the next one is called Moulin Rouge. And it turns out that Moulin Rouge is a current member of Fairy Tail. Wanna know who it is? Check it out next week.

Also I’m loving the fact that Hiro Mashima is one of the hardest working guys in Manga. He’s made a massive amount of omake chapters for the anime to adapt while the manga gets more distance on it. My favorites out of this omakes would have to be ‘A Day with Asuka’ and ‘418 Days’. Mostly 418 Days because it’s all Juvia centric and the shipping is in full force!

So I’m guessing that it’s going to be Moulin Rouge, then A Day with Asuka and then 418 Days.

So that’s all I have for this review,
Until the Next Review,
Later Days

Let’s Look:Fairy Tail Episode 12:Iron Shadow Dragon!

Fairies never lose! Let’s go!

So we start off the episode with this!

Snapshot_1

Oh Rogue you done stepped in it now.

So after the opening we go to the Rescue Lucy team in the palace. Future Lucy explains that a swarm of 10,000 dragons will attack destroy the entire capital.

We go to Princess Hisui who confirms this and says that she will open the gate if the person that told her of the future is correct.

Side note: I just realized that Princess Hisui is voiced by Suzuko Mimori of Love Live fame. Yay, Umi-chan!

Sonoda.Umi.full.1437738 tumblr_n4a740Ufvd1stg31so1_500

(cough) Ignore that idol fanboy moment and let’s get back to the show.

We go back to the Rescue team who shows looks of fear and confusion. Well except one person…

Snapshot_2 Snapshot_3

The others spitball ideas about where the dragons are coming from or what is their purpose while Natsu does…well just look.

Snapshot_4

Like that’s going to stop a dragon.

Future Lucy asks why do they believe her. Mostly because the story does sound a bit far-fetched.

Snapshot_5

After Future Lucy gets a quick scolding by Present Lucy, Carla finally connects the dots about the vision she’s had for like 20 episodes ago.

Snapshot_6

Yeah in the first episode we saw Natsu fighting against all the dragons so what did happen at the end?

Snapshot_7

They died…

After Future Lucy’s flashback she explains that she used the Eclipse gate to go back in time to July 4 X791.

But Arcardios seems to see something wrong with this.

Future Lucy advises Natsu’s group to go and meet up with Jellal’s group to figure out what to do next since she didn’t have a plan coming back to the past.

Arcadios also has a flashback showing how Princess Hisui got the idea for the Eclispe 2 Project. He concludes that if Future Lucy told Hisui about the Eclipse 2 then it was impossible for her to arrive on the 4th.

Future Lucy starts to worry about the future and how she was unable to do anything but all Natsu needs to do is this.

Snapshot_14

After that we go to Jellal, Ultear(she’s so hot and she’s got Miyuki Sawashiro as her voice in Japanese and Lydia Mackay in English!), and Meredy sitting outside out the city trying to figure out what’s true about what Future Lucy said.

We move back to Gajeel vs. Rogue.

Snapshot_15

Someone’s been busy laying down the smashdown on Rogue.

Rogue explains that he always looked up to Gajeel while he was in Phantom Lord but once he went to Fairy Tail he couldn’t believe it at the time. However over time he realized that it was because of friends and that Sabertooth doesn’t have bonds like that.

Snapshot_16

He says that Frosh is Rogue’s friend and Rogue agrees. Rogue is about to give up but something speaks to him in the darkness.

Snapshot_17

And his shadow tells him to kill Gajeel. Wow this looks like a badass battle after the commerial.

But we go to Natsu’s group back in the palace and other than Arcadios and Yukino leaving, the rest is all filler to make sure that the episode gets to 22 minutes. So I’ll make sure to skip that part and focus on the good stuff.

Back to Gajeel vs. Rogue.

Snapshot_18

Looks like someone’s about to get power up.

Snapshot_19

There is it!

So they start up the fight and it’s just better to show with pictures.

Wow, this is a good one. This is why the anime needed to come back!

During the fight Mavis comments that something must be possessing Rogue and it’s deeply evil.

Snapshot_26

After that we go back to Jellal and the others where they sense a spike in magical energy they realize that Future Lucy has just gotten into a battle but in the fighting she isn’t fighting at all. What’s up?

I could comment on the filler parts but I respect you all too much.

After that we have Gajeel completely owned by Possessed Rogue.

Snapshot_27

Looks like he’s about to kill him. Come on that’s too far for a game but it looks like things aren’t in the game territory any more.

Snapshot_28 Snapshot_29

Oh crap things are getting serious now! When Natsu ate Laxus’s Lightning, he became the Lightning Flame Dragon Slayer. Now what will Gajeel be when he mixes shadows with iron?

Snapshot_30 Snapshot_32

Oh crap. It’s about to go down it’s…it’s…

Snapshot_35

It’s the Iron Shadow Dragon!

And with that we end the episode. Can you even wait to see the battle of the Possessed Rogue vs. Iron Shadow Dragon Gajeel! Until next week,
Later Days!

You can ask me as many questions as you want on Ask.fm and you can follow me on Twitter to know when my new reviews are coming out. You’ll also be update on what’s happening.

Let’s Look:Fairy Tail Series 2 Episode 9: Sayaka Ohara vs. Kikuko Inoue vs. Saori Hayami

The episode opens with Rufus, you remember him guy that got owned by Gray a few episodes, waking up and remembering what happened.

After the opening we get a quick review of the scores with Fairy Tail in first place with 50 points followed by Sabertooth with 49 points.

Risley and the girls from Mermaid Heel comment that it will be hard for them to come back since they’re in last place with only 43 points but there’s no need to worry because they’ve got…

Prim and composed is so cute.
Prim and composed is so cute.

They’ve got Kagura, who’s voiced by Saori Hayami one part of the beautiful triangle that’s made in this episode.

But Beth(the carrot girl) comments that no one’s seen Millianna on the Lacrima vision for a while. They hope that nothing’s wrong…they are so wrong.

We go to the Rescue Team walking through the Hell Palace towards the exit. They talk about how Arcardios survived and what the Princess, Hisui, is planning. Until they find the exit.

Looks like they’re going to get out.

Who is this?
Who is this?

Who is this?

We flash up to the guys in the palace and Princess Hisui. They basically tell us what we already know. Fairy Tail came, they saw, they owned the Garou Knights.

Now we get the minister of defense, Darton, come up and question why she’s so happy that Arcardios, who was thrown into the Hell Palace with Fairy Tail has escaped since she threw him in there. Darton then realizes that Hisui not Arcardios is the mastermind behind the Eclispe Project.

Hisui comments that the plan that he’s heard about is only a cover plan but the Eclispe Project has another version, phase two. She states if Phase Two of the Eclispe Project doesn’t go into effect then all of Fiore will be destroyed tomorrow.

We head back to the Grand Magic Games(Finally!) where we see Juvia(ah my beautiful water mage) getting attacked by Chelia.

Snapshot_4
Turns out Chelia wants to fight Juvia because she’s getting all of Lyon’s attention. Aww…little Chelia has a crush. Now for some extra info. Now according to Chelia’s guild card, she’s fifteen while Lyon is twenty-six, eleven years her senior. So unless he wants to date a girl that young it ain’t happening.

Guild Cards are usually cover pages for manga chapters and they explain a lot about the character that hadn’t been seen while they were on screen. After the Grand Magic Games Hiro Mashima did a few months worth of guild cards for all the guilds that participated in the Grand Magic Games

Anyway thanks to Mavis’s strategy Erza heads up to the roof of some building where Mavis strategized that she would fight Minerva, the ace of Sabertooth. However this happens.

Snapshot_5
Yes! Now it’s Sayaka Ohara vs. Saori Hayami! So awesome. I haven’t seen them go at it since Sekirei(Sayaka played Miya Asama and Saori played Musubi)

I’m giving you pictures but they don’t really do it justice. Imagine epic music and awesome voice acting alongside and you’ll get the picture.

Then Erza and Kagura clash and this happens.

Looks like Minerva’s joined the party and with that Kikuko Inoue joins the party! Three of my favorite female seiyuu about to duke it out. Thanks Fairy Tail!

Wow this is tense. Only pictures can convey this awesomeness.

Then Minerva uses I Ragado to trap Erza and Kagura in spatial bubbles then she uses one of the most badass spells in the anime, made even better by Kikuko Inoue’s beautiful voice.

So awesome but you know what’s better?

Snapshot_50 Snapshot_51
They took it like some bosses!

So Minerva changes up her strategy seeing as Erza and Kagura are stronger than she expected.
Snapshot_52
Oh so that’s where she went. Minerva explains that she’s sucking out her magic and sneers at Kagura and Erza’s anger.

We flash to the palace where Hisui explains that a person from the future told her of the coming threat and to make her believe he told her that one guild will win the Grand Magic Games with an unbelievable outcome.

We go back to the Hell Palace and Natsu confronts the hooded woman who begins crying, asking for their help. As she asks them, everyone notices her voice and she takes off her hood to reveal that she’s Lucy from the future.

Snapshot_53
Wow we’ve got some good stuff here. See get rid of those Boring Knights and we’ve got some good stuff here. I can’t wait to see what happens from here on out.

So until next week,
Later Days.

You can ask me as many questions as you want on Ask.fm and you can follow me on Twitter to know when my new reviews are coming out. You’ll also be update on what’s happening.

Let’s Look:Fairy Tail Second Series Episode 8 Finally! It’s over!!!

Finally the Boring Knights are beaten and the great part is Erza vs. Minerva vs. Kagura is next

Side Note: I didn’t have a review last week because you have to be interested in what you watch to write a review. Last week’s episode was so boring I just didn’t feel it.

Just like in the last episode(Just because I didn’t review it doesn’t mean I didn’t watch it.) Lucy starts off the episode summoning Aquarius.

After the opening we get the fight between Mirajane and Kamika. After sealing her with the Purple Paper, Kamika follows up with Red, White, and Yellow Paper but Mira doesn’t even flinch.

Snapshot_3
So Kamika uses Green Paper, God of Poison on Mira which actually starts doing a good effect. Then Mira starts talking about how magic isn’t meant to kill people instead you’re supposed to protect people with it.

She obviously doesn’t know Zeref…ya know the Death Wizard that dropped Zancrow like he was nothing and killed Hades with a flick of his wrist.
Anyway heading to the next scene we’ve got Natsu vs. Kama.

Snapshot_4

Looks like Natsu’s on the ropes with Kama’s second scythe which can cut right through magic.

On to the next one, we’ve got Pantherlily vs. Neppa and just like everyone else’s he’s on the the ropes.

Snapshot_6

Now we flash back to Lucy and Yukino vs. Uosuke and predictably everyone’s who’s seen Aquarius knows what’s about to happen.

Snapshot_7

Then we get some classic Aquarius and Lucy comedy with Aquarius wondering if Scorpio might be dating another woman.

Now if it was me, I’d get pretty mad if this just devolved into a whole conversation wondering if Scorpio is cheating so thank goodness Uosuke decides to make a move.

Yeah…not really a good move attacking a water spirit with water dude!!

After some figuring Uosuke switches the water from cold water to boiling hot and prepares to fight Aquarius.

However before we get to the good stuff we get this…

Hmmm not bad. Give that girl a record contract! Don’t ask. Inside joke.

Anyway looks like Wendy’s up. How?

Snapshot_13

Then Wendy goes on the offensive but Cosmos hits back just as hard with Spore Bombs. You know the way this battles goes around in a round robin reminds me of episode 6 of Date A Live 2.

We head back to Natsu vs. Kama when Natsu decides to go in close with Kama with hand to hand combat.

Now we’ve got some side plot filler about the others in the arena wondering about the Rescue Team…it’s not worth caring about. Let’s keep going.

We come back to see Mira walking through Kamika’s field of poison like it’s nothing.

Snapshot_14

Then Mira tells her that she made a big mistake by separating her from the others because now she can go all out. She goes Satan Soul and you know what she does next…

Call me crazy but Mira's lips are really sexy
Call me crazy but Mira’s lips are really sexy

She eats the poison! Like a boss!

Now as a reviewer I have a responsibility to report the episode as it happens but with Mira fighting Kamika it’s a complete and utter curbstomp battle.

Snapshot_16

That was easy once she got serious.

Back to Lucy and Yukino vs. Uosuke.

He just heated the water so Aquarius can’t use it anymore or can she?

Snapshot_17

Someone’s about to get screwed.

Quick flash to Pantherlily vs. Neppa. Panterlily remembers his training with Gajeel and remembers that the strength of the heart makes the blade able to cut through anything and …

Snapshot_18

Now that doesn’t make sense but hey it’s anime.

Let’s go over to Wendy and Cosmos. Who basically thinks what would Natsu do?

We figure that out in the next scene with Natsu owning Kama in hand to hand combat and Kama asks would he be willing to make enemies of the country and Natsu says…

Snapshot_19

After that we’ve got totally ownage of all the Garou Knights at the exact same time.

Snapshot_20

And the episode ends with this.

Snapshot_21

Now I’m happy here not because it’s a good fight but because it’s finally over!!! Thank goodness now we can get back to the battles happening during the Grand Magic Games. I’m definitely going to love Erza vs. Kagura vs. Minerva mostly because it’s Sayaka Ohara vs. Saori Hayami vs. Kikuko Inoue, my three favorite female seiyuu.

So I can’t wait until next week! Until then
Later Days

You can ask me as many questions as you want on Ask.fm and you can follow me on Twitter to know when my new reviews are coming out. You’ll also be update on what’s happening.

Let’s Look: Fairy Tail Series 2 Episode 6: Oh the Suffering and all that stuff

Let’s finish our filler villians up and get back to the real thing.

Once we’re back in the action we get Wendy still caught in the flower and she’s all covered in drool. Now if you say like that it doesn’t sound bad but…well look here.

Maybe it’s me but this looks really creepy, Wendy a loli all covered in white fluids. Just a bit creepy. Just so you know Mashima does some weird stuff like this occassionally. Look at Song of the Fairies if you want to know more. That’s a lot of fanservice in that.

Anyway…

Now to get into some of the good part of the episode.

Mirajane Strauss!

She frees Wendy and starts going in on the Executioners.

Now that's a good cat!
Now that’s a good cat!

Looks like we’ve got a fight but…

Yep they got ’em again.

But wait…

And he does what Fairy Tail wizard does best. He destroys the flower but the shockwaves send everyone into different places. Translation: Mashima used Natsu as a living plot device to scatter the group to make one on one fights.

Looks like Wendy vs. Cosmos.

She knows Wendy’s one weakness! I’ve always thought that this was hilarious.

Mira is so awesome
Mira is so awesome

Mira will own her. The only thing is how long it takes. You can clearly see that Mira’s my favorite Fairy Tail girl right after Juvia.

Be awesome!
Be awesome!

Please follow through Natsu. You have Lightning Flame Dragon Mode and you just owned Sting and Rogue. Don’t lose to this guy.

Snapshot_14

He’s a cat with a massive sword. How can’t this fight not be awesome!

Snapshot_31

Something’s off about this guy…

I knew he was weird.

Anyway…let’s go to some side plot.

Milliana is so cute but look…

Evil never looked so sexy
Evil never looked so sexy

Yep she’s about to get her.

Other than that’s the episode other than some hilarious stuff between Mavis and Asuka.

She founded Fairy Tail and probably created the Three Great Fairy Magics...and she gets owned by a six year old

The first master of Fairy Tail, the person who probably created of Fairy Glitter, Fairy Law, and Fairy Sphere, and the Fairy Tactactian, is getting talked about by a six year old.

Hahaha.

That’s all for this review. Personally I can’t wait for Garou Knights to be done so we can get to the Grand Magic Games fights.

So until the next episode

Let’s Look: Fairy Tail Second Series Episode 5: No More Knights!

Okay Time for Fairy Tail.
Side Note: Remember that even though the Fairy Tail episodes 1-4 reviews aren’t up, please act as they are up.
Okay we only got two major plot points in this episode. I’ll talk about the one that comes up first.
We’re sitting around with Sting in some part of the city during the competition and he has a flashback about what happened after he blew a hole through Jiemma.
Turns out Minerva warped Lector away at the last second before Jiemma blew him up. She kicks Jiemma out of the guild and says by his rules that Sting is in line to be guild master because he owned the current master.
Call me crazy but I thought that Minerva would be the next guild master seeing as she’s the guild’s ace and one of their smartest members but whatever.
Never forget that Minerva is an evil bitch. It can’t get more obvious than this.
Minerva is a complete bitch
Minerva is a complete bitch
So it’s go big or home time for Sting. Losing ain’t an option! Lucky that Natsu isn’t there or he’d get wrecked…again.
So let’s go to the other half of the  episode(the part in the first part of the episode doesn’t really matter because all they were doing was reminding us that Gray just owned Rufus.)
The Garou Knights.
The Boring Knights
The Boring Knights
Now personally I don’t really like them. I think that they’re just filler bosses so things won’t be boring while Natsu and the others are saving Lucy and to have some action and tension to add alongside the Finals of the Grand Magic Games.
Anyway, the Rescue team runs into the Garou Knights who seems to be some weird combination of guys and they start a fight with Fairy Tail.
Now what I don’t get is Natsu and Wendy are having trouble with these guys.
Natsu just yesterday wrecked Sting and Rogue in Dragon Force by himself!
Natsu, the fire dragon slayer, is getting owned by fire...
Natsu, the fire dragon slayer, is getting owned by fire…
Wendy only a few days ago fought a God Slayer with a type advantage to a standstill. It’s like for us Pokemon fans seeing Ampharos beat Thunderus-Incarnate with a Electric type attack.(I’ve had this happen to me. It’s so easy to forget it gets Mold Breaker and switch your Thunderus only to get OHKO’ed)
This is the girl who fought a God Slayer to a standstill
This is the girl who fought a God Slayer to a standstill
Anyway they should not be losing. I’m not really happy about it. I’m just waiting until they get back to the Grand Magic Games fights.
I know that things are going to get interesting…as soon as we get pass these jokers.
That’s all for this review. I can’t wait until we get passed these fights.
So until the next episode

First Impressions: Fairy Tail 2014 Reboot

Okay, next up is Fairy Tail 2014 Reboot.

Lucy, a 17 year old girl, sets out on journey to become a full-fledged wizard and joins the strongest and most famous guild Fairy Tail where she meets Natsu, Happy, Gray and Erza, who treat her more like family than friends. This epic series takes us through all the dangers that the members of fairy tail face and eventually overcome through mutual love and friendship.

Here’s the PV.

Now this is an anime that I’m caught all the way up with. When Fairy Tail ended back in March last year, I wasn’t feeling anything, mostly because I hadn’t got into it yet. However my trusted senpai Sarroush from Mangafox talked about it a few times and it got me curious. I watched a few episodes of the dub and soon I was hooked. About two weeks later, I reached episode 175 then I despaired; I couldn’t believe that a great anime Fairy Tail was over. I threw myself into the manga to get rid of my feelings and then anime was brought back.

Enough of my yapping, let’s talk anime. Now for those that have seen it, the art style of the anime has had a complete retool. It’s exactly the same as the Fairy Tail Movie: Phoenix Priestess which is totally awesome! Now we’re getting movie quality animation every week.

Another great part is that all the original VAs from the first incarnation of the anime are returning. I can’t deny that I was bouncing especially once after I finished I searched the internet from top to bottom for info. I found a lot stuff about the scandal with Aya Hirano and thought that she wasn’t coming back after the anime was coming back. It’s good to be wrong.

In short you can see that I can’t wait for Fairy Tail to return. In fact my first review will be Fairy Tail! So stick around and check it out!
